Seeing Red with an Illegal & Problem Parking Blight

Seeing red with illegal parking

The Parish Council are seeing red about illegal parking around the Zebra Crossing on Chapel Road and have placed 2 huge red banners to remind illegal parkers not to do so.

Problem Parking

Separately there continue to be problems with parking around the school. Whilst not illegal in many cases, it is true that much inconvenience, delay and annoyance can be associated with school drop-off and pick-up. Recognising this, the Parish Council in consultation with the Headteacher at Heathlands School, parents and members of the local community has issued some guidance which has children’s safety at heart. It offers a number of suggestions designed to help everybody to reduce the problem.
