The West Bergholt Baby & Toddler group meets in the St Mary’s Church Hall  every Monday during (Heathlands) term time from 9.30 am to 11.15 am

The group has a large selection of toys, a specific area for babies, cosy book area as well as craft and sensory activities and singing/story-time most weeks.  They welcome visits from ‘pop up shops’ and like to support small business’ such as:

  • Usborne Books,
  • Ceramic Painting,
  • Greeting Card Designers.

They also welcome advisory groups such as

  • baby massage teachers,
  • child health professionals &
  • yoga practitioners.

The group tries to get out and about with walks to the apple orchard, allotment and an annual Teddy Bear’s picnic to the Orpen Park – their schedule is available on Facebook or in hard copy with, hopefully, the most recent one in the news feed below.

New members are always welcome, as are Dads, Grandparents and Childminders, your first visit is free!   Each session costs just £2 per family with a healthy snack and drink for the children and a hot drink of their choice for every adult served at 10 am.

Membership benefits include:

  • First option and reduced prices for group events (Christmas and Summer Party as a minimum),
  • Reduced toy and equipment hire for parties held at the hall.
