Annual Fete 2022 is a little different
Re-established with some trepidation as to whether it would succeed in 2017, cancelled in 2020 due to COVID & bouncing back again in 2021, the Village Fete is now an established annual event. We now know that it not only succeeds each year but has become something of a village institution. Its core aim is to provide an affordable, fun family day out for the residents of West Bergholt. At the same time, it also helps raise much-needed funds and gain new members for the myriad of voluntary organisations which we are so lucky to have in this village. This year, it’s a little different though…
Welcome to the Jubilee Festival
Taking place on Saturday 4th June, the Fete aims to meet the festival needs of all ages. It will also embrace the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. With set-up activities starting as early as 7 am and clearing-up finishing by 9 pm it looks to being a long, but hopefully enjoyable, day.
A DJ will also be the Master of Ceremonies for the event, playing music when not introducing activities. The Festival will comprise a number of elements including:
Stalls & Pitches
Anyone can book a table/pitch around the Lorkin Daniell field.
- Want to attract more members for your club?
- Or perhaps raise some much-needed funds?
If you are interested then download this fillable PDF form, save it with your organisation name in the filename and return it by emailing Hall Admin. Alternatively, you can print the form and send it to either address provided on the form.
Events & Activities
- RAF Spitfire flypast!!!!
- 2km fun run for under-16’s
- football & cricket tasters for under-11’s

Rather than a full blown show, plans are for there to be a Royal-themed craft show in the John Lampon Hall.
Food & Drink
Food and drink stalls will run throughout the day, catering for all, with tea and cakes, BBQ, hog roast, pizza oven, picnic boxes and of course ice cream!
Music for all tastes
We expect a range of performers including a DJ and with Live Music from 4 pm featuring Loxley’s Corner and Silence the Sirens.
