Chaos & Other Events this August
A selection of some activities that are coming up that are suitable for family days together at Holytrees Museum, Colchester Castle and the Natural History Museum.
Chaos Science Roadshow
This summer, the CHaOS Roadshow will be heading across the country with free science events including one in Colchester on Monday 8th August. Just turn up between 12 – 5pm at Hollytrees Museum to be enthralled.
Have you ever wondered what music looks like? What’s inside your body? What creepy-crawlies do all day? (apart from all the creeping and crawling, that is!) Discover the answers to all of these puzzles, and more!
The CHaOS Roadshow brings you fun, hands-on experiments, each with a friendly, enthusiastic student volunteer who will answer all of your questions about why the world is the way it is!
Find out more about them on their website.
CHaOS is Cambridge Hands-On Science, a voluntary student group based in Cambridge. We believe that science is fun, and relevant to everyone! CHaOS take our wide range of hands-on science experiments to a variety of venues around the country, with our enthusiastic student demonstrators explaining what each experiment shows and why it’s interesting!
