The Friends of St Mary’s unveil 2 new Christmas Cards for you to show off the Old Church to your friends and family.  The two on top are from last year, the bottom two are new this year.  Sold in packs of 6 for just £3.50, you can buy them from:

  • The Pharmacy,
  • Scissorhands, or call
  • Gill Poole (240512) or Jane Lloyd (240167).

The proceeds go towards the upkeep of the Old Church and its surroundings.  As you will know, internal redecoration is currently underway and you will be able to view Bakers of Danbury’s progress at either of the two upcoming events:

Mulled wineMulled Wine & Mince Pies

Taking place between 11:30 am – 2:00 pm on Sunday 1st December, soft drinks, coffee and other savoury eats will also be on offer.  The event also affords an opportunity to take out or renew membership (just £5 a family).  There is no charge for this event but you are welcome to offer a donation.

The Annual Carol Service

Sunday 15th December 2019, 2.30 pm.  This is normally a candlelit service but will not be this year because of the redecorations underway.  You are advised to bring a cushion if you want to sit comfortably.
