Vocal Zones Choir will celebrate Christmas with a singing event in St Mary’s Church on 17th December.  The concert and singalong will start at 7:30 pm, entry is free, although donations greatly appreciated.  Mulled wine and a Mince Pie will also be on offer as well as a raffle.

Decorating Won’t Stop Christmas Events

The Friends of St Mary’s are pleased to report that their regular Christmas events will still go ahead this year.

As you may have noticed, work started a week ago on the redecoration of the Old Church.  The Friends’ Keep the Bell Ringing appeal of 2016 raised money towards the repair of the roof and tower to make the structure watertight.  The Churches Conservation Trust, of course, also helped a lot with that project.  Now the internal redecoration work, using Continue reading “Decorating Won’t Stop Christmas Events”

Prayer Weekend

Praying together is an important part of our life as a church and so we have arranged for a special prayer weekend with three opportunities to meet together to pray for our church and community:

  • Friday 1st Nov: 7.30pm—9pm—prayers by candlelight,
  • Saturday 2nd Nov: 3pm-5pm,
  • Sunday 3rd Nov: 11am-12 noon (after the morning service).
