Colchester FoodbankHarvest Festival Appeals – Sunday 2nd October

Opening Church during Harvest Weekend

We are also hoping to open up the church between 2-4pm on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd October so that visitors can enjoy the Harvest decorations, but need a rota of volunteers to enable this to happen. If you can spare just 30 minutes on one of these days, please let Liz in the office know.

Afternoon Tea At Methodist Church

On Sunday afternoon, October 2nd the Methodist Church are holding another of their afternoon teas for the older members of our community. It will be from 3.00 to 5.00 in their Church hall, Chapel Lane. Transport will be available and they are particularly keen to reach those who may be living alone and without friends and family nearby.  Read more.

Prayer for Healing Ministry available after Sunday morning services from 2nd October onwards

A team of people from St Mary’s have recently been trained in how best to pray with people for healing or anything else for which they would like prayer.  Mandy will be commissioning the team at the Harvest Festival service on 2nd October so please feel free to come and ask for prayer after the service.
