About Heathlands
The Church founded Heathlands in 1858 to serve the village of West Bergholt on the outskirts of Colchester. Their aim, like all church primary schools, is to provide the best possible education for every child within the context of a caring Christian community. Heathlands is very proud of its history and the strong traditions and values that it upholds; their school vision is built on the Matthew 5:14-16. The school has an excellent reputation and they pride themselves on providing positive learning experiences, a rich curriculum and opportunities enabling each and every child to achieve.
