The Colne Valley Flower Club begins its Autumn season of meetings on Wednesday 16 September in the Orpen Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Adele Kent from Hethersett will base her arrangements around the title ‘Blooming Marvellous’.
Congratulations go to Pat Sharman, Jane Lawson and Liz Clarke whose club exhibit at the Tendring show gained 1st prize.
Our October meeting on Wednesday 21st is ‘Bring a Friend Free’ a chance to introduce friends that may not have been to a meeting before so that they can get an idea of what goes on. Our demonstrator on this evening will be Mary Griffith from Mildenhall and her title is ‘Kaleidoscope’.
The final meeting of our year will take place on Wednesday 19th November. This is our open meeting when we ask members to join us from other flower clubs in the area.
The title of this evening is ‘Christmas Delight’ by Gill Mcgregor from Cuffley. Drinks and refreshments will be served.
