Woods is a small but very friendly lawn bowls club that is normally open to all ages and abilities throughout the spring & summer months of April to September.  The club consists of a mixture of male and female members with ages ranging from ‘Thirty-somethings’ to, sprightly Octogenarians! If you make use of the Essex libraries services you have just two weeks left to give your input.  Over the past ten years, use of libraries has slumped (to use their word) with loans more than halved.  Less than 20% of Essex residents now make use of the libraries.  Against this background, and in the face of pressure on public finances, it is believed that the current service is no longer viable.
