Erle Havard Play Area ConsultationColchester Borough Homes is planning to upgrade the Erle Havard Play Area this year and are consulting on 5 options. You can see some simple illustrations of the five options on their website at cbhomes.org.uk/park-poll/ and, on that same page, click on your preferred option.
The deadline for responses is 24th January so is looming; there is no constraint on who can vote so an opportunity to get the kids involved!

An extremely popular event this is organised every year to raise funds for Heathlands PTA with a massive £9,000 profit being made last year. This week, Bergholt played their first home game of the season hosting Stanway Rovers Reds, with whom they shared a good 11-a-side friendly game at the end of last season.

Bergholt Heath YFC – Results 10th SeptemberThe four matches on 10th September produced 3 wins and a loss. Next Sunday (17th) the club is welcoming the new season with their annual ‘Kick-Off BBQ’ with the club’s Chairman, Les, as the chosen Chef.
The 13s have seen a fair bit of player movement over the summer but started the new campaign in excellent fashion. The first game of the season saw Bergholt make the trip across town to play Lexden Saints. Last season Lexden finished 3rd in the D League whilst Bergholt finished 4th so a close game was expected.
