West Bergholt Film Club Movie NightChristopher Robin

The West Bergholt Film Club is showing the family film Christopher Robin on Saturday 9th February to raise funds for playground equipment.  Taking place in the Orpen Hall, doors open at 5:00 pm for showtime at 5:30 pm.

Tickets are £5, available in advance from Scissorhands or, subject to availability, on the door. Proceeds go towards a new playground at Orpen field, so please put this in your diary.  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, refreshments will be available.  Find out more about the film, enjoy the trailer and synopsis below.

Neighbourhood Plan Submitted for Ratification

Neighbourhood Plan Submitted for Ratification

West Bergholt submitted its final draft Neighbourhood Plan to Colchester Borough Council for ratification in late December last year.  This followed endorsement of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group’s proposals by the Parish Council at its November meeting.

We have been informed that urgent resurfacing will be taking place between 8 pm to 6 am overnight on 15th January (weather permitting).  Kier Highways will be closing the road SOUTHBOUND between junctions 28 and 26.  They will put a diversion in place via A1232 and A133 before re-joining the A12 southbound at junction 26.
