St Mary’s February 2019 Update
St Mary’s Church February 2019 update provides listings of services, contacts and other events and news. This update includes Heathlands School Prayer Space project, Seniors Lunch, & a concert by Quire.
Gift Day for Heathlands School Prayer Space Project
Last term, with the help of Families’ Worker Jo Jeffery and volunteers from the church, Mrs Best organised a prayer space in the IT suite with different activities related to Remembrance. It proved so popular with the children that they have asked for a permanent prayer/quiet space to be provided. The cost of this project would be around £3,000 and St Mary’s has pledged to raise £750 towards this by inviting donations. If you would like more information about the project, please contact Liz Dixon.
You can bring your donations to our next Café Church on Sun 24 Feb, or to the church office.
