St Mary’s Church update for 9th August provides listings of services, bible readings and other events and news such as Ride & Stride, Messy Church with an Olympic theme & Coggeshall Flower Festival.
Messy Church – Sunday 14 August
This coming Sunday the theme for Messy Church will be the Olympics. Hope you can join us!
Ride & Stride – Saturday 10th September
This year’s sponsored bike ride to raise money for St Mary’s and also the Friends of Essex Churches will be on 10th September. Sponsorship forms are available from Sue Hart: [antibot mailto=”[email protected]”].
Open House & 5Ts during School Holidays
Just a reminder that the Thursday Open House coffee morning will take a break for the school holidays but that 5Ts will continue as normal weekly.
Coggeshall Flower Festival – 27th – 30th August
Taking place at St Peter ad Vincula the festival offers refreshments & stalls with FREE admission although donations are welcomed. The event is open 10am to 5pm each day apart from the Sunday when it opens from 11:45. Other highlights include:
- Saturday 27th August at 7.30pm: Concert ‘Once Upon a Musical’ by One Way Street Productions, tickets £12, concessions £10 and under 16’s £2
- Sunday 28th August, 10.30am Sung Eucharist and 5.15pm: ‘Songs of Praise’.
