Don’t forget, the church is now open on weekdays if you would like a quiet space to reflect or say a prayer for someone.

Crime Prevention in Spring

Colchester Neighbourhood Watch recently issued Crime Reports showing no incidents in West Bergholt between 27th March & 2nd April.  They also had some advice to offer to help prevent crime at this time of year.

Planting young plants in springWell, spring has sprung and the migration into the garden has commenced with all the extra jobs that it brings. Unfortunately, with the spring season also comes seasonal crimes too and we need give this a little consideration to prevent them and help others avoid becoming victims too.

Notice of County Elections 2017

The Deputy Returning Officer has issued a notice of an election for a County Councillor for the Constable Division (including West Bergholt).  Nominations may be made no later than 4pm on Tuesday 4th April.  If more than one nomination is received the election will take place on Thursday 4th May 2017.

Applications for postal votes must be made by 5pm on Tuesday 18th April.

Applications for proxy votes must be made by 5pm on Tuesday 25th April.

Help Spring Clean the village with the Litter Warriors at their next outing this weekend.

Starting from the West Bergholt Cricket Club, Manor Road, at 11am on Saturday 1st April this is no April Fool jest (although bad jokes might be excused).   Why not spend an hour helping to tidy our village up and take pride in our beautiful village.

BHYFC Results 26th March

The three matches on 26th March produced 2 draws and a win.  U8 & U10 teams still have games but the season is over for the U12s finishing in 4th place in the league.

Next Season
