So, the Easter Holidays have arrived and you have got plans for the kids for every day?  If not there is quite a lot going on that you can tap into, the following have been collated from the Colchester Events Company’s guide to events between now and September:

Meet The Romans

4 April • 10am-4pm • Colchester Castle • Free

Join us at the Castle and meet characters from Colchester’s Roman past. Try your hand at mosaic making and handle objects buried beneath the city from nearly 2000 years ago.

Bug Man Science Show

5 April • 12pm-3:30pm • Natural History Museum • £3 Ages 2 and under free

Come to the Natural History Museum to meet Martin Rapley, the Bug Man. His amazing science shows feature live bugs and other animals.

Be inspired by our Victorian doll’s house and make your own room in miniature.

Naomi Wilkinson

Children’s TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson comes to Charter Hall during her Spring tour. The show will be packed full of fun
and surprises as Naomi is joined on stage by ‘Animal Mark’, and some of his scariest creatures.

Anglo-Saxons versus Viking Invaders

Edward the Elder freed Colchester from Viking occupation 1,100 years ago. Join us in a fun-packed day of activities – meet the King and his soldiers and see them battle Viking invaders.
