Celebrate Christmas with Vocal ZonesVocal Zones Choir will celebrate Christmas with a singing event in St Mary’s Church on 17th December. The concert and singalong will start at 7:30 pm, entry is free, although donations greatly appreciated. Mulled wine and a Mince Pie will also be on offer as well as a raffle.

Pavement Upgraded on Colchester RoadEssex Highways prioritise pavement repairs as County Councillors nominate the most needed works. Thanks to Councillor Anne Brown, who presented a list of West Bergholt’s top five worst footpaths to the Highways Team, one has already been done.

The Friends of St Mary’s are pleased to report that their regular Christmas events will still go ahead this year.
As you may have noticed, work started a week ago on the redecoration of the Old Church. The Friends’ Keep the Bell Ringing appeal of 2016 raised money towards the repair of the roof and tower to make the structure watertight.
