Road Safety Group Calls for Volunteers
The Road Safety Group has been actively engaged with the Parish Council to find ways to make our roads safer. Key concerns are parking violations and speeding, can you help make a difference? If so read on.
Call for Volunteers
75 local residents are now using the Trygve App and are only too aware of the repetitious nature of the parking violations, particularly those near the Co-op and School, but also elsewhere in the village. They regularly post reports of bad parking practice online and these reports are being used to collate evidence to inform parking wardens & police on hotspots of poor practice.

The Parish Council is also using the information to look at other means of enforcement and education. The Group now wants to recruit a team of volunteer parking monitors to occasionally patrol a few areas in the village.
