Orpen Players Present – Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty flyerSleeping Beauty

It’s all change for the Orpen Players pantomime “Sleeping Beauty”.

New Playwright

This adaptation is a first from Phil Hurst who can usually be found keeping the cast in order as Stage Manager.  This time he wanted to express his talent as a playwright and has created a storyline that will amuse and entertain with lots of interesting characters.

New Dame

Peter Cox who has written and directed the last six pantomimes has given his pen and directional skills a rest this time to take on the role of Dame.  Peter will still be painting the sets, recording the sound effects, producing the programmes and posters etc; what would we do without him? If his performance as Dame is equalled by the rest of his talents, then we are in for a real treat!!

New Director

Ricardo Mussi who has played the Dame for the last three years picks up the reins to direct. Ricardo has directed panto’s before for other groups, so is more than qualified to step into that role.

So exciting times ahead, with new members joining our established team to complete the changes.
