Baby & Toddler group need a hand

The Baby & Toddler Group have been running in the village for nearly 40 years now and they are asking all attendees, past & present for a hand.  Well, figuratively speaking; the hand they want is your handprint on a piece of A4 paper.  Please make it as colourful as you can.

These handprints will all be turned into bunting at the Methodist Church’s Open Weekend taking place on 29th & 30th September.   To provide your print please leave it (with your first name and year of birth written on the back) at Scissorhands, the Pharmacy or St Mary’s Church by 17th September.

Open Weekend

The Church is planning a weekend of activities in the Chapel and Hall.  This is as a farewell celebration for the 139 years of Methodist service and worship in the Chapel and community. The Chapel and hall will be open from 2-6 on both days. There will be a Quiz on Saturday evening. The weekend will finish with a service late Sunday afternoon followed by tea and cake in the hall. Please keep the date and watch for more details nearer the time.
