Having visited the Aviation Museum this month the History Group are looking forward to visiting the Gainsborough House Musem.

Art lovers turned out in their hundreds to visit the Art Show in the Old Church. In just 10 hours over the weekend of 15th – 16th June 320 visitors came to enjoy an art exhibition. Local artists had produced 185 works of art for the exhibition. The artists had used a variety of mediums to produce paintings which ranged in size from small to supersize.

BBC Essex Radio runs a regular show called Essex Quest and a recent episode saw them visiting West Bergholt. The episode which aired on 16th June (still available to hear online until approx 11th July), was on the topic of Cricket, Foraging & Grow Your Own. It saw the team of Eric Dixon, Liana Bridges and Barry Lewis have 3 hours to find 4 mystery places around Essex based on cryptic clues.
