Floral Art Demonstrations with Colne Valley Flower Club

Meeting monthly in the Orpen Hall, the Colne Valley Flower Club invite you to attend their upcoming floral art demonstrations.  These start at 7:30 pm and guests are always welcomed for a £6 visitor fee (apart from October where free entry is offered).  If you are interested in Floral Art don’t miss the following:

Imposed Demonstration – 16th May

No, nothing will be forced on you, this will see 6 of the club’s members going head-to-head to produce the best arrangement using the same flowers.  There will also be a plant sale at this meeting.

Kath Doggett – 20th June

Kath is an Area Demonstrator from York and is also a qualified NAFAS speaker & judge.  She is known for organising festivals, in 2016 she managed to raise over £4,000 to help restore a monument to Capability Brown in Fenstanton.

John Chennell – 18th July

To celebrate their 65th Anniversary the club is pleased to greet John, a National Demonstrator.  Advance tickets will be required for what is expected to be a popular event.  Contact Anne on 01206 242436.

Lionel Clark – 19th September

Area President of NAFAS East, Lionel Clark is sure to engage you all.

Lisa Morgan – 17th October

Lisa, who runs a successful floral business in South Woodford, will entertain you in October.  With free entry for guests at this event, there will also be a cake & produce stall.

Jacqui Arnold – 21st November

Jacqui, an RHS Chelsea double Gold Medallist and a NAFAS National Demonstrator, closes the floral year out with the theme of “Jingle All The Way”.  This is another of those evenings expected to be popular and advance tickets are required – again contact Anne on 01206 242436.
