This matter will be discussed by the Parish Council next Wednesday 27th February at 7:30 pm and they have issued the following Information Paper to inform this discussion. The West Bergholt ‘allotmenteers‘ showed how to grow money for local causes as they raised £4,087 last year. Their charity stall will be hoping to raise even more in 2019 when local causes benefitting will include:
The stall is now open pretty much all year round so make a point of looking out for what’s available,
The West Bergholt Film Club is showing the Walt Disney movie Incredibles 2 on Thursday 21st February. Taking place in the Orpen Hall, doors open at 9:30 am for showtime at 10 am.

If you make use of the Essex libraries services you have just two weeks left to give your input. Over the past ten years, use of libraries has slumped (to use their word) with loans more than halved. Less than 20% of Essex residents now make use of the libraries. Against this background, and in the face of pressure on public finances, it is believed that the current service is no longer viable.
