Mediaeval Christmas Concert at St Peter’s Boxted
This celebration in music & words with be performed by Hexachordia at 7pm on Friday 1st December.
The Hexachordia trio offer a fresh approach to music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. We recreate the instrumental flexibility that was a key feature in music-making at the time.
The ability to play a number of different musical instruments along with the possession of a good singing voice was essential for professional musicians.
Each of us, therefore, specialises in a range of instruments of this period, allowing us to perform a wide repertoire of ensemble music in a number of different instrumental and vocal combinations.
Tickets are just £10 (to include wine & refreshments) and are available from Graham Pullen on 01206 273804 or on the door.
