Fairfields Farms Tractors and Other Vehicles on the Roads and Lanes
Fairfields Farms are now starting to harvest their potatoes and maize. This means that you will be seeing an increase in agricultural vehicles on local roads for the next month. Operations will typically be underway between 7 am – 8 pm (or a little later if weather pressures demand it).
Whilst being stuck behind a tractor might be annoying please do bear with them. All they need is space & patience to finish the harvest as soon as they can. And, if it seems a little noisy, just think of all those tasty crisps they will soon be producing!
Free Potatoes after the Harvest
They will be foraging the maize and lifting the potatoes at the same time. Once they have finished, they have said that you are welcome to glean any leftover potatoes.
Good Taste
Being believers in keeping things local, Fairfields found it led to some success in the Great Taste Awards this year. Teaming up with The Chilli Company, in Stowmarket, & Adnams Brewery, in Southwold, to produce Sweet Chilli & Ghost Ship crisps, delivered 2 of the 3 Great Taste awards they won this year.
