Click It Local Colchester is a new virtual high street service that aims to support independent shops in the area by offering same-day delivery to residents across the entire district. It enables local businesses to compete against the likes of Amazon & eBay by offering home delivery.
From weekly food essentials, gifts, and treats to last-minute basics, customers can buy everything they need from as many participating shops as they like, with one payment and one delivery.
Click it Local aims to help save the high street by making shopping local easier and faster. Residents in Colchester can shop from the whole of Essex. Over 200 stores across Essex are already signed up to the service.

How Does It Work?
If you visit the Click It Local website you will find a wide range of shops and hopefully more will come on board over time as well. You simply pick the stores you want to buy from, select your product and add it to your basket. Once you check out the order will be
- collected by a dedicated courier between 1 pm – 2 pm,
- sorted for delivery, and then
- delivered between 3 pm – 7 pm.
So – order before 1 pm and you will get the delivery the same day!
