AGM of Care Network

The 2018 Care Network AGM takes place in St Mary’s Church Hall on 18th April starting at 7:30 pm.  Now in its 31st year, the Care Network provides a vital transport service for those who have difficulty in making what are mostly medical appointments without support.  The meeting is open to all village residents, so why not come along, show your support and hear about the group’s achievements.

Do you need help?

If you need a helping hand with transport to a medical appointment or any other local visit, The Care Network may be able to help.  In a typical year, up to 20 drivers will help villagers attend over 250 appointments.

The Care Network has a single contact number in order to make it easier for users to contact the service.  ‘On-duty’ contacts receive calls on their respective days and then arrange the required transport.  The service selects the contact to call and if they are unavailable, it will try others ensuring calls get through.
