News from the Annual Church Meeting

Mandy gave her annual report and thanked the many people who contribute to the smooth running of the church and all its various activities and services.  A copy of her report will be available on the church web site next week. Richard & Dorothy Chadborn were re-appointed as church wardens, and there are some new faces on the PCC – Sue Day & Rachel Hutchings.  Also, Pat Kinzett takes over from Dorothy as PCC Secretary.

Senior Citizen’s Lunch – Sat 23 April @ 12.45pm

Don’t forget the senior’s lunch this coming Saturday. If you can help or know someone who would like to come, please contact Murray Harlow on 07989 720256.

West Bergholt Open Gardens – 12 June

A reminder that Nicole would like to ask for your help with providing and serving refreshments in church on the Open Gardens day in June. She would like to have 3 or 4 people who could do an hour each (from 12.30 to 5.30) of making/serving tea and selling programmes. Also we will need homemade cakes to serve. The Church will get a £100 donation from the organisers for our efforts.  All offers of help to Nicole Long –  [antibot mailto=”[email protected]”]   phone-240443.

Christian Aid Week 15 – 21 May

Mandy’s husband, Paul Elmes, has very kindly offered to take over from Richard Chadborn as co-ordinator and would be grateful for volunteers to take part in the house-to-house collections. More details to follow in due course.
