Would you make a good Parish Councillor, or know someone who would?  If so would you be interested in joining the Parish Council and help make a difference!

Colchester Borough Council will be holding elections this year for West Bergholt Parish Council.  Applicants are eligible for office if they are a European national, at least eighteen years old and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be registered as an elector in the Parish on the current electoral register.
  • Must have resided either in the locality of West Bergholt or within 3 miles of it for the previous twelve months, prior to their being nominated as a candidate or the day of the election.
  • Someone with land as owner or tenant in the Parish.
  • Have their primary place of business within said 3 miles.
