It is the aim of the Parish Council to seek a high standard of design for all new developments and extensions in the Village.

To replace roof on existing agricultural general-purpose building and raise from 2.5 metres to 5.5 metres height to eaves with single span steel framed building. No change of use required. 180549 Observation Decision The Parish Council’s only concern is regarding the ridge height of the building relative to the views of the River Colne valley. The Council would refer to policy DG24 of the CBC adopted Village Design Statement: “Any new agricultural buildings should be designed and sited to minimise the effect on the landscape”.

Item 3:         Notification of Appeal Decision (Bakers Lane: reference no. 170200)

The Parish Council were sent The Planning Inspectorate’s appeal decision of the 13th March 2018 with regards the Gladman proposal for 122 dwellings on the land off Bakers Lane, Braiswick. The appeal was dismissed.
