It is the aim of the Parish Council to seek a high standard of design for all new developments and extensions in the Village .

8 Hall Road, West Bergholt, CO6 3DS	Proposed front single storey extension, side two storey extension and rear first floor extension over existing flat roof.	160011	Observation	Decision	The Parish Council queried the rear of the extension affecting the 45°light angle of the neighbour’s property. The choice of materials is also out of keeping with neighbouring properties.
Land north of Poplar Cottage, Spring Lane, West Bergholt, CO6 3HJ	Proposed construction of 1.5 storey detached dwelling and associated landscaping.	152673	—-	——	The Parish Council have no comment as this application has already been discussed previously. However, the Council thank the applicants for the additional section diagram as it has allayed our fears.

1. Review Planning Decisions – Planning Decisions were reviewed.
2. Feedback from CBC Training Event – Monday 18th Jan 2016
   BT to feedback at the Parish Council meeting on Wed 27th January.
3. Permitted Development – 91 Chapel Road, App. No. 150744
   Now in the hands of the enforcement officers at Colchester Borough. LW to take photos and send off to CBC.
4. Amended Plans – 40 Pirie Road, App. No.152502
   No further comment to make.
5. Hedge Removal – 62 Mumford Road.
   The removal of the hedge bordering 62 Mumford Road and the new development at 45-47 Lexden Road was an example of poor practice by the CBC Planning department and the developer, not talking to neighbours about future exposure issues. On the plans the existing hedge should have been included, along with a note saying that it would be removed.  CS will draft a letter to both parties and will include Cllr. Harrington.
