The new president Pat Moran welcomed members. A minute’s silence was held in memory of Joyce Woolhead the previous president.
Names of those members wishing to visit Fordham WI on 3 February are to be given to the secretary. Volunteers are needed to organise members Evening on March 4.Speakers were Gemma Goskie, talking about First Responders in the village, and Susan Leng who gave a talk with slides on the Splendours of the British Isles.
As it was our birthday month members enjoyed tea and cake made by Nora Bates.
