Antiques Valuation Result

The Friends of St. Mary’s Old Church were very pleased with the support from the village when over 60 attended their Antiques Valuation Day.  Although no one went home clutching a newly discovered valuable antique, our visitors were pleased to hear what the experts Michael Bowles and Marc Walker had to say.  The Friends were also pleased to see it raised £257.

Work is Starting

Our lovely old church is now clad in scaffolding and we are hoping that the repair work will start very soon.  Do remember the Friends would like to install lighting in the building in a sympathetic manner. There are also a number of other matters which require attention once the roof and belfry are dealt with.  If you want to help the Friends complete these renovations they are always open to receiving donations.
